I get it. Adding one more thing to your business is just, too much? Time consuming? Exhausting? Not worth it? Or worse, not in the budget?

Businesses have their ups and downs, highs and lows, and when business owners are passionate about what they do, they look for opportunities to grow their business and share it with their target audience. Sometimes knowing how to do that can be, well, frustrating. There are so many platforms and it's hard to know which platform to use. Do I just use Google Ads? Expense. Ok, I'll add it to TikTok. Ugh, time to create a video. Scratch that, let's use Instagram. How many people saw my post? And were they the right audience? Hmm...maybe Facebook? How many people are searching my product thought? Ok, it's a product I created, I can just use Etsy and people will find it eventually when they search...or not. Have you tried Pinterest? Let me explain.
Unlike Google or other search engines, Pinterest is a visual search engine. When people search "Fall Decor," they will immediately be shown picture or video Pins of anything related to Fall Decor, with the occasional sponsored ad. But when people are searching on Pinterest, it is normally unbranded. Meaning that they aren't looking for a specific brand for a product. They might be looking for over the counter light fixtures that are shaped like a tear drop with gold hardware but never specified if they wanted it to be IKEA or Walmart or Arhaus (now that's luxury!). Pinterest users come to the platform with a problem and hope to find a solution. [By the way, Pinterest is not technically a social media platform, so better to not treat it as one.]

OK, ok. So what does that mean for YOUR business? Well, let's look at some facts.
There are nearly 500 million people using Pinterest monthly to plan for their big life moments. Think WEDDING, NEW BABY, GRADUATION, FIRST HOME, BIRTHDAYS. As people plan ahead for summer and fall months, now is the time to capitalize on those searches and be discovered by YOUR ideal audience. Q3 and Q4 are HUGE on Pinterest, and you don’t want to miss out on that traffic.
According to Niche Pursuits, “email generates $36 for every $1 you spend in building it. That’s a 3500% return on your investment. Every click on one of your Pins generates the possibility of a new subscriber to your business.
Organic Pinterest management might cost $500 monthly, but if you build your email list by 100 subscribers every month from Pinterest, you could potentially get a $3,600 return on investment.
96% of searches are unbranded, meaning your pin could be just what someone is looking for!
80% of weekly users have discovered a new product or brand on Pinterest
Every single Pin links back to a source, meaning you can direct traffic back to your product pages or blog posts with product links or whatever it may be that leads to more sales and viewers for your business
We've already mentioned that people come to Pinterest looking for a solution to their problem. But how exactly do they use Pinterest? They search for something and are shown Pins, pictures and videos of things related to their search. They then click on the Pin or save the Pin to a "board" for viewing later. These boards are created by users and used how they need. Maybe their board is all about home remodel, organic gardening, pantry organization, or nail design. When they view a Pin, they can share it with others on the platform or through email or text. They can even search what's trending. Whatever a person's "Pinterest Problem" is, there are millions of solutions to find.

So, in short, the more aesthetically pleasing your Pins are for your Niche, the better your Pins will perform. It's a simple equation.
better Pins = more Pin views = more clicks = more traffic = more subscribers = more product purchases
